Raising pets in Adopt Me isn't just about getting them to full grown – it's also a way to earn bucks. This guide covers pet care tasks, aging strategies, and how to profit from your pets.
Every pet has 4 needs: Hunger, Thirst, Sleep, and Fun. You need to keep them high to earn task XP. Each completed task (eating, drinking, sleeping, playing) gives XP and a small amount of bucks.
Age Stages
Newborn: 0 XP
Junior: 25 XP
Pre-Teen: 60 XP
Teen: 100 XP
Post-Teen: 150 XP
Full Grown: 200 XP
Each task gives 5-10 XP depending on the task type.
How to Earn Bucks While Raising Pets
1. Task Completion Rewards
Each pet task you complete gives 2-5 bucks. While it's not a lot, it adds up over time. With 4 pets equipped, you'll earn 10-20 bucks per task cycle.
2. Camping Chair AFK
Place your pet on a camping chair. It gradually earns XP and bucks while you're AFK. Overnight = 100-200 bucks + significant XP.
3. Family Member Bonus
Add a family member (or alt account). The baby gives 2x task speed, meaning more tasks = more XP + more bucks per hour.
4. Complete Daily Tasks
Daily quests reward extra bucks. Complete them while raising pets for double profit.
5. Sell Full Grown Pets
The most profitable strategy: raise pets to full grown and sell them for bucks. A full grown legendary sells for 20,000-50,000 bucks depending on the pet.

If you're active: Use Family Member + Speed Potions. This cuts aging time in half.
If you're AFK: Use Camping Chair and check back every 30 minutes.
For profit: Age 4 pets at once (one per slot), make a neon, then sell the neon for 2-3x the cost of individual pets.
